Viewers waited for Anne Curtis’ first appearance in ABS-CBN’s top rating Primetime Bida fantasy series, “Dyesebel” as a grown up Dyesebel last April 1.
Curtis’ first appearance made “Dyesebel’s” rating climb to the top list of most watched TV programs based from Kantar Media. Show scored a whopping 32 %, 16 points higher than GMA 7’s “ Kambal Sirena”.
Netizens also awaits the appearance of Gerald Anderson, Andi Eigenmann and Sam Milby in the said teleserye.
Broadway diva, Lea Salonga’s song “Tangi Kong Kailangan” also played in the said date of Anne Curtis’ launching which was recorded with ABS-CBN Philharmonic orchestra. Francis and Carla Concio wrote the theme song.
The fantasy series star was stung by a box jellyfish while shooting scenes of the teleserye in Batangas last April 3 and believes that she was given a second chance saying, “I thought I was going to die.”
Report shows how fatal a box jellyfish sting is and that it may eventually lead to death. The actress in her official twitter account said her doctors told her that she was very lucky to have survived such incident.
“Good Morning everyone!!!! Feeling a bit better today! Praise God! After reading some of the other articles you guys found & tweeted me, I really feel I’ve been given a 2nd chance at life,” Anne Curtis said.
Curtis was informed of a same occurrence as hers wherein a girl was brought straight to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Anne added, “It’s quite a scary thought. When we were on our way to the local and closest hospital near our set, I noticed that I couldn’t feel my legs & slowly couldn’t breathe properly. I thought I was going to die.”
Photos released to ABS-CBNNews.com surfaced the net on evening of the same day showing a large part of the actress’ body covered in red rashes.
A day prior to the incident, news of the actress allegedly confronting her young sister’s rumored boyfriend, Sam Concepcion during Vice Ganda’s birthday party in a club in Makati went viral online but the actress denied it to be true.
Bashers said it was “karma’’ that happened to the Dyesebel star.
Jasmine Curtis was quick to defend her sister, tweeting, “It hurts me to see some saying that she deserved this when no one deserves to be in risk in terms of health,” she also added “How could anyone wish this upon another?”
The star’s boyfriend, Erwan Heussaff also came to her defense calling the actress’ bashers “idiots”.
The Filipino-Australian actress was discharged from the hospital last April 6 according to philnews.ph.
Curtis immediately announced it in Twitter, “Finally! I’m out! Thank you to all the Doctors & Nurses that took great care of me! See you all later this week for my check up.”
The 29-year-old Anne Curtis also expressed how thankful she is, “Thank you for all your prayers and wishes! Most importantly, Thank you Lord for saving me and being with me during one of the scariest moments in my life,” she said. Anne Curtis added “Thank you to all the visitors that came to visit & everyone that sent their get we’ll soon messages. Thank you.”
It had been “one hell of a week” for the actress but she was able to get out of it with a smile on her face.
